Funding from the Georgia Department of Public Health, Part C/Babies Can’t Wait program, support services provided by the Special Needs Database. The purpose of the Special Needs Database is to serve as a statewide resource for families, providers, and other interested groups or individuals to access an array of information and referral services, in accordance with Part C Regulations, 34 CFR , Section 303.17, of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
The Center for Leadership in Disability (CLD) at Georgia State University is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to implement the Georgia Statewide Disability & Health Program. Through this program, CLD is offering a disability-focused training for healthcare providers in Georgia. CLD is partnering with Parent to Parent of Georgia to ensure that the providers who complete this training are included in this directory
