Parent to Parent of Georgia offers a variety of ways for parents, family members, youth and others in the community to become involved as a volunteer.
One of the most meaningful sources of support is another parent or family member who has experience living with a disability. Parents have the most comprehensive and accurate information on their children, and they are experts. Consider sharing your expertise and knowledge and make the path a little easier for another parent!
The Navigator Project is a leadership program that trains parents to serve as volunteer representatives of Parent to Parent of Georgia. You can get involved with an existing Navigator Team in your area or we can help you start one. Your leadership can affect change in your community!
Do you want to start a support group in your area? Find out if we can help by giving us a call.
Woud you like to learn more about making a difference by affecting policy change and having a voice with legislators? Join our Advocacy Team and benefit from training opportunities and receive email updates. Become an effective leader of change!
P2P’s Board of Directors consists of volunteers who are parents and professionals working together to monitor the organization on behalf of all the families impacted by disability in Georgia. P2P’s board helps establish agency bylaws, and our mission and vision, as well as review financial statements, budgets, and policy manuals. The Board openly recruits new members as needed.
