Is Due Process Right for You?

Parent to Parent of Georgia is very pleased to have Craig Goodmark, Attorney at Law, presenting a 3 part series on Due Process.  Session 1 will help participants look at whether Due Process is the right choice,   Session 2 will focus on creating a due process hearing request, and Session 3 will look at pre-hearing procedure and the trial.

Session 1 topics include:

• Brief overview of the special education process highlighting where conflicts usually develop.
• The Evaluation issue:  Has all the information been collected for an IEP team to make a decision that needs to be challenged?
• The IEP: Have you asked for what you want and the District has said no?
• On Defense:  The District has taken an action that you disagree with.
