Parent to Parent is Georgia's Family to Family Health Information Center (F2F)

We are federally funded through the United States Department of Health and Human Services Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB).   The F2F is associated with the Family Opportunity Act of 2005.

Who do F2Fs serve?

F2Fs serve families of children with special health care needs.

Who are children with special health care needs?

Those children who have or are at risk for chronic physical, developmental, behavioral or emotional conditions and who also require health and related services of a type or amount beyond that required by children generally.  Examples of such conditions include: Asthma, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Blindness, Loss of Hearing, Diabetes, Bipolar Disorder, Epilepsy, etc.

What do F2Fs do?

F2Fs provide health
information, training and
support to families of
children and youth with
special health care needs,
and the professionals that
serve them.  We help
families develop the skills necessary to cooperatively
and effectively participate
in planning and decision
making in health-related
issues.
